Are you ready to learn the language of snakes?
When I started at this school back in 2013, I noticed that a previous Slytherin, Sirithre Leylnn, had prepared a class on how to speak Parseltongue. Unfortunately, that course had not been offered since 2011. Fortunately, as I looked at the course notes and got used to the dungeons, I discovered that I had an innate ability for speaking to snakes!
I have studied Sirithre's old notes and spent significant amounts of time interacting with the snakes that dwell in the dungeons. I have used what I learned to revise Sirithre's notes into a new course, which I first had the pleasure of sharing with you right before my Summer 2020 graduation! I do not claim that you will become fluent in Parseltongue after my class, but you will be able to understand the fundamentals of how snakes speak -
and maybe, just maybe, you will be able to have a better idea of how snakes think as well!

or catch me (Prof. Will Lestrange, though most snakes know me as Visli'un Slestrentʃ - the accepted Parseltongue nickname for Visli'un is Visl)
on IRC (note that all HOL rules apply on IRC; my most common usernames there are "WillLiam", "Regulus", and "WillL") whenever I'm on and active! I can often be found alongside the snakes in the Slytherin ophidiarium as well.
