This class will be a one-term class consisting of four lessons. Each lesson has a required "core" component worth 30 points and options for "extra credit" worth an additional 30 points. There will be a Term Project and a Final Exam which will also be worth 30 points each, for a grand total of 300 points. Note that the Term Project and Final Exam, along with the class vocabulary list, can be found in the Additional Resources section of the course.
Helping out in the forums by either asking or answering questions in the Kestnaʃ? (as you will learn later in the course, kestnaʃ is the Parseltongue for "question" or "questions") section of the class forums will be worth 2 points per post, up to a grand total of 30. It should be noted that these points will NOT bring your score above 300!
QUILLS:
All 4 assignments and the final exam must be turned in to pass. At least 150 points must be earned over the course of the class to earn a quill. The Extra Credit and Term Project assignments will help you reach that total if you lose points during the assignments or Final Exam.
Should you rely on assistive technology or have any other needs that should be taken into account, please contact me and we can discuss other options for certain parts of the assignments.
